Order Tracking / Order Status

Once an Internet order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email showing items ordered, prices, order total and a password and user ID to log in to check order status. In addition, if your email accepts HTML, you will receive a link that will take you directly to your order status and tracking page.
Once your Internet order has shipped, you will receive a second email (usually within 24 hours of shipment) with the tracking number and any other information pertaining to your order. A link will also be provided to the appropriate shipping company (UPS, FedEx, etc.) for you to track your package during shipment.

Please allow up to 24 hours from the time of shipment for all information to be updated in our system!

Shipping Policies
We try to ship all in-stock items within 24 hours. We will contact all customers who will encounter any delays or backorders and try to estimate a ship time. Items drop-shipped from the manufacturer will take a bit longer to ship.

We ship via UPS ground, UPS 2nd Business Day Air, UPS Next Business Day Air, FedEx, USPS (International orders) and by Common Truck Carriers. We do not ship orders to a PO Box. We also reserve the right to ship with the carrier and method of our choosing.

There is a $50.00 surcharge on any equipment items that require common freightline truck shipping (over 75 lbs. and non-UPSable) to a residential address.
Please note on all LTL Truck (Common Freight) shipments. Before receiving any order, please check merchandise thoroughly for any damage or shortages. DO NOT SIGN for any damaged merchandise. By signing for any damaged merchandise, you are assuming all responsibility for the damaged goods. Please refuse the order and have the carrier send it back to the originating address. If there are any shortages, they must be reported to Handsontools within 24-48 hours upon receipt of the shipment.

International orders and orders being shipped to an APO are also welcome, however please call or email us for actual shipping charges. International orders and APO orders for in-stock items will ship within 2-3 business days from the date of order.

Any items that are advertised as free shipping will ship with either UPS ground or Truck freight.

We ship Monday through Friday except on Holidays. Any in-stock items ordered on Friday after 12PM Mountain time will ship on the following Monday.
Please note that any orders placed on a Friday before 12PM Mountain time requesting Next Business Day Air shipping will not be delivered until the following Monday.

Handsontools and its carriers will not be shipping or delivering on:

New Year's Day
Presidents' Day
Memorial Day
Independence Day
Labor Day
Thanksgiving Day
Christmas Day.

Additional UPS holidays include:

Day after Thanksgiving - Only Air and International packages will be delivered.
New Year's Eve - Only Air and International packages will be delivered.

Additional USPS holidays include:

Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
Columbus Day Veterans' Day.
