Thexton 440 Transmission Linkage Removal Tool.
Removes transmission linkage, using plastic bushings, from shift lever on:
Ford: FMX, C-3, C-4, C-5, C-6, AOD and A4LD-1974 and up;
GM Trucks: 4x4 with 207 and 208 transfer case-1981 and up;
Jeep: 4x4 with 228 and 229 transfer case-1981 and up.
Tool separates linkage rod from plastic bushing in transmission lever. High strength steel is specially treated for wear and breakage resistance. Angled "pickle fork" design easily separates linkage. Allows access to hard to reach linkages on Chrysler/Jeep vehicles and confined areas on front wheel drive vehicles.
