This harmonic damper pulley holding tool was developed to aid in the removal and installation of the crank bolt.  The bolts holding these pulleys are extremely tight and without the #64700, removal is extremely difficult at best.  In replacing the center bolt after installation of the pulley, factory specifications require up to 240 pounds of torque to seat the pulley properly.  Refer to factory specifications for specific requirements.  These tools allow the factory torque to be attained.
