Pro Motorcar 5437A Model ETG-A Electronic Paint Thickness Gauge.

ETG-A is a hand-held digital thickness gauge which measures the thickness of coatings and platings on metal.

The factory installed custom fitted probe system means all models are calibrated and shipped Ready-to-use: simply press ON and measure.
Unique Substrate Compensation (TM) circuitry measures all non-magnetic coatings such as paint, epoxy, plastic, and phosphating or galvanizing on steel.
Clear digital display in mils or microns.
Full range accuracy of ±1%: recalibration not required when measuring different thicknesses.
Stable continuous readings in real-time provides additional information about the uniformity of film build and eliminates the need for an accessory probe fixture to achieve the stated accuracy.
Unique Substrate Compensation (TM) circuitry substantially minimizes effect of base metal thickness.
Audible alarm indicates when the measurement is not within the acceptable range.
Automatic low battery shut-off eliminates invalid readings.
Made in the USA with a full one year warranty.
All ETG-A models come with memory, limits, audio warning, battery, calibration plate and foils in a heavy-duty case.
