Pro Motorcar 5437-2 Model ETG-2 Combination Electronic Paint Thickness Gauge.

ETG is a hand-held digital thickness gauge which measures the thickness of coatings and platings on metal.

Combination Electronic Paint Thickness Gauge measures coatings on both steel and aluminum substrates with a "T" type probe.
The factory installed custom fitted probe system means all models are calibrated and shipped Ready-to-use: simply press ON and measure.
Unique Substrate Compensation (TM) circuitry measures all non-magnetic coatings such as paint, epoxy, plastic, and phosphating or galvanizing on steel.
Clear digital display in mils or microns.
Full range accuracy of ±1%: recalibration not required when measuring different thicknesses.
Stable continuous readings in real-time provides additional information about the uniformity of film build and eliminates the need for an accessory probe fixture to achieve the stated accuracy.
Unique Substrate Compensation (TM) circuitry substantially minimizes effect of base metal thickness.
Audible alarm indicates when the measurement is not within the acceptable range.
Automatic low battery shut-off eliminates invalid readings. All ETGs include memory and are upgradeable to print models.
Made in the USA with a full one year warranty.
All ETG models come with memory, limits, audio warning, battery, calibration plate and foils in a heavy-duty case.
