Admit it - when we are here talking about cars, motorcycles, auto parts and repair, the first impression that you get is that this is a man’s job, a man’s career, a man’s industry at the most. Even though there are a significant number of women out there who have been in the industry for some time now, the male species remain prevalent. Maybe not as many women like having grease and dirt while working - but that’s not the point. A lot of people - with no regard to sex - enter the world of mechanical hand tools but not each one survives, let alone succeeds in the business.
Kate Jonasse has made the battle a win for herself, though. She is the perfect role model for everyone out there who has a thing for cars and tinkering around their parts with the latest mechanical hand tools - whether they are male or female. With her sheer focus, dedication and hard work, she has landed the top of the chain. Having been awarded the “Business of the Year” recognition, she no longer needs to do the manual work herself, although she still loves it. She is living proof that anybody can make it in this business - and perhaps in any other field or profession - as long as one strives hard, trains relentlessly.
