Klann Tools KL-0580-4 Locking Tool BMW M42/M50
Applicable for: BMW 4-Cylinder-4 Valve Engine M42, M44
also for the 6-Cylinder-4 Valve-Engine M50, M52, M52TU
and M54 in the E30 (318), E36 (318, 318is, 320, 325 and
328), E46 (320, 325, 328 and 330), E34 (520 and 525 and
530), E39 (520, 525, and 528) and E38 (720, 725 and 728).
This tool is absolutely necessary for locking both of the
camshafts in TDC-Position while repairing the timing chain on
the engine. The camshaft is pulled across the squared
camshaft and lies on the cylinder head edge.
