Klann Tools KL-0280-103 Locking Tool Set Audi A3 TDI, Golf IV TDI
Suitable for VW- Audi, Seat, Skoda 4 cyl. 1,9 TDI/SDI engines (not PD).
Especially suitable (for example) for VW Golf IV 1.9 TDI (110 hp) with
aluminium valve cover.
The KL-0280-103 allows retention of camshaft position without the
need to remove the cam-cover - so eliminating risk of damage to
vulcanised gasket.
Note: The valve cover gasket is vulcanised on to the valve cover and
can only be renewed as a single unit with the cover. The gasket is not
available separately.
Insertion of the Locking Pin KL-1480-16 in the Injection Pump pulley,
and insertion of the Setting Tool KL-0280-93 in the camshaft slit and
bolting through to the cylinder-head, will ensure the correct position of
the crankshaft, camshaft, and injection pump is retained during
renewal of the timing belt or during engine repairs.
