For General Motors. J-43799 is used with J-39700 Break -Out box to diagnose the electrical operation of the Allison 1000 Automatic Transmission. Following available Service Information diagnostics, the transmission Control Module (TCM) harness is disconnected from the TCM, and J-43799 is installed between the harness and the TCM. The appropriate circuit can then be tested and measured at the corresponding terminal of the J-39700, per available service information, to diagnose the fault, and verify system operation after repair.
