For General Motors. 6L80E. J-42055-15 is a set of adapters used with previously essential J-42055 Transmission Jack Adapter to securely support the transmission for removal and installation in the vehicle. The Adapter Set bolts to the Jack Adapter and contacts the transmission pan side rails. The transmission can then be lowered for rebuilding or replacement.
