Kent-Moore EN-49792 Remover, Pump Pulley
When servicing the vacuum pump, the pulley is serviced separately. In order to remove the pulley, the plate from EN-49792 is placed under the pulley between the pulley and the pump body. With the pump body secured in a vise, the bolts from EN-49792 are placed through the puller body and threaded into the plate. The puller pilot is placed into the threaded pump shaft, and the end of the puller forcing screw is centered in the pilot. The forcing screw is tightened against the pilot to draw the pulley off the shaft. Unapproved methods will damage the pulley, resulting in unnecessary component replacement.
