Kent-Moore EN-48694 Adapter, Compression Gauge
For GM / General Motors. Current SI procedures call out J-26999-20 Compression Gauge Adapter for the 6.6L diesel. This adapter is too short, and does not reach the bore taper in the head to seal to provide an accurate reading during a compression test. EN-48694 is sized to duplicate the glow plug, and seals correctly against the taper in the head bore to allow accurate compression testing. Inaccurate testing can lead to incorrect diagnosis, and unnecessary repair expense.
