The oil pump on LS7 engines has been changed to a two rotor design, and the crankshaft end is longer to accommodate both rotors. Currently Essential J-41478 Crankshaft Front Oil Seal Installer and J-41665 Balancer and Sprocket Installer will not fit this longer crankshaft. EN-47812 is a longer center bolt, which is used with both J-41478 and J-41665 to install the seal, balancer, and sprocket. Unapproved methods may cause component damage.Email
