Kent-Moore DT-47868-4 Adapter, Clutch Travel Weight
For GM / General Motors. Selective backing plate retaining rings will soon be utilized in order to maintain proper piston travel in the Low/Reverse and the 2/6 clutch assemblies. DT-47868-4 is an adapter which is used with the previously essential DT-47868-1 Clutch Pack Travel Weight. This new adapter allows correct utilization of the current weight for these multiple clutch pack assemblies. The adapter is a double- ended design and by utilizing both ends, two distinct clutch travel air checks can be performed and measured on three different RWD 6-speed transmission variants; the 6L50, 6L80, 6L90.
