For GM / General Motors. The BW4476 transfer case has been changed to low-lash, and the several internal components are now press-fit. The input gear, chain, and front output gear must be removed together to avoid damaging the chain. DT-47752 fits under the output gear, and is used with J-8433 Puller to evenly remove the gear from the output shaft. Unapproved methods will damage the chain, resulting in unnecessary repair expense.
