Kent-Moore CH-47975 Separator, Steering Linkage
For GM / General Motors. The pitman shaft stud and idler arm stud load into the center link from the bottom, with limited access from the top to remove them from the center link for service. CH-47975 fits between the pitman arm or idler arm and the center link, with an arm that fits over the top of the stud. The forcing screw on CH-47975 is tightened, its arm against the tapered stud, and unseat it from the center link. Unapproved methods will damage the pitman arm or idler arm boot, which is not serviced separately.
