Cleaning your Air Tools

Posted by on 12/27/2012 to Info News
The air compressor that powers pneumatic tools gives off condensation and moisture that enters the tool. All of this moisture does not leave through the outlet but instead is deposited as sludge around the rubber o-rings within the air tools, decreasing their performance over time. To clean off the gummy residue, use a lubricating oil specially formulated for air tool use. C.L. Rease has put together a useful step-by-step guide on how and when to oil your pneumatic tools.
